How It Works

Before the ProcedureDuring your consultation, one of our experienced doctors will utilize the ARTAS Hair Studio which is a unique program that allows the patient to see their projected hair restoration results on a 3D model. The doctor will simulate the results working with the patient to create a desired, natural hairline. The advanced software will also calculate the number of grafts needed to achieve this.

Procedure Phase OneThe first phase of the procedure is known as harvesting. The ARTAS iXi Robot will select the best, most viable hair follicles using Artificial Intelligence and advanced algorithms. Once identified, the robot will use precision to harvest the hair follicles from the donor area.

Procedure Phase TwoAfter the best hair follicles are selected and harvested, the robot will begin the site-making phase of the procedure. The doctor will work with the technology to determine the even distribution of the permanent hair follicles. The robot will then begin implanting the harvested hair follicles evenly throughout the thinning or affected areas of the head without damaging the healthy hair present.
