How does the ARTAS Robotic Procedure work?
This painless procedure is unlike any other hair restoration procedure or treatment on the market, and only available at Robotic Hair Rx in Arizona. It is minimally invasive and requires no incisions like older methods. The robotic arm integrates AI technology and precision grafting for the most advanced hair harvesting process in existence. Unlike other procedures, there is no potential for human error. The robotic arm identifies and harvests permanent hair groupings from the back of the scalp and implants them into the front of the scalp where male pattern baldness has had an impact. The transplanted hair will then grow over the course of a year. The results are natural and sure to restore your confidence. The procedure only needs to be performed once and the new hair is permanent. Learn More.

How does this procedure differ from “Hair Plugs”?
The “hair plugs” method is a more old-fashioned approach to hair restoration that often results in an awkward, unnatural looking result. Our hair restoration system uses a robotic arm with AI technology to identify and select hair groupings with unparalleled precision. This allows for the designing of a more natural-looking hair and hairline appearance. The transplanted hair will match your natural hair as though if you never had a hair restoration procedure.

Are the results permanent?
The results from the ARTAS FUE hair transplant procedure are permanent. The hair on the top of the head and towards the front of the hairline are not permanent hair groupings which is why they are subject to the impact of male pattern baldness. The hair around the sides and in the back of the head are permanent hair groupings that are not susceptible to the conditions that cause hair loss. The ARTAS system harvests permanent hair groupings from the back of the scalp and transplants them to the front where they will last a lifetime.

The FUE hair transplant procedure will be conducted in our Arizona office and typically takes four to eight hours depending on your hair restoration needs and goals. How long does it take to recover?
The recovery time after the procedure is short allowing you to return to your regular activities and work within a day or two. This is because there are no surgical incisions or stitches with the ARTAS Robotic FUE hair transplant procedure, making it easier for the scalp to heal.
When will new hair start to grow?
Hair growth takes time so the results will be seen in phases over the span of a year. Three months after the procedure, you will notice the new hair beginning to grow. After about six months, there will be a noticeable improvement and the compliments from friends and family should start rolling in. Final results will be achieved at the one year post-procedure mark.
