Will it look like I had a hair transplant?
Not at all! Our ARTAS iX robot specifically chooses which hairs to extract and keep, leaving your donor area look untouched. We also have created a technique for implanted grafts to grow in the natural hair pattern
When can I get a haircut after my procedure?
You can get a haircut as soon as 1 month after your procedure!
What is the healing process like and how long?
You can shower the following day and return to your daily routine. We recommend light cardio until 2 weeks after your procedure when your exercise routine may resume as normal. You just want to protect your grafts from the sun with loose-fitting caps for 6 weeks.
How painful is it?
The most painful part of the process is the numbing medication. We use local anesthetic injections in the scalp, but it lasts only a few seconds.
Do I need to come back for touch ups?
You will not need touch ups in the transplanted area, but you could naturally lose some of the hair you had before the procedure. We can develop a plan in your consultation to work around this.
